What does a theatre wig assistant do?
The Wig Dresser preps the wigs used in a show for each performance. They may simply involve combing them through but can involve much more complicated work involving curling or setting in a specific style. During the show they will then make any changes or adjustments as required by the actors. The Wig Dresser may have built up their experience as a
Wig Supervisor can progress to
Wig Supervisor.
