Stage Jobs

Who are Stage Jobs?

Stage Jobs was setup in 2005 to make the life of theatre professionals just a little bit easier. We've combined the technology team behind the hit actors networking site casting call pro with feedback and advice from hundreds of theatre professionals. Stage Jobs is the result, a site which alerts you to industry news, reviews, gossip and jobs.

What can Stage Jobs do for me?

Stage Jobs allows you (the theatre professional) to list your resume and portfolio on our central online database, accessible to hundreds of employers. Our unique profile tagging mechanism enables us to instantly alert you to upcoming jobs which match your skills. No more trawling through the newspaper and industry magazines, now all the information you need is in one place. And as if that didn't sound enough, we take the application process to the next step, enabling you to receive feedback from employers directly through the site, network with other industry professionals and also browse our comprehensive resource database.

So what does it all cost?

As Stage Jobs is a new service we are currently offering free standard membership to all theatre professionals so join Stage Jobs today.

Stage Jobs Team

Stage Jobs is run by a team of three from a central Islington office, should you have any questions please don't hesitate to give us a call on 020 7288 7404.

Jenni Armstrong, Website Manager

Give Stage Jobs Pro a ring or drop us an email and Jenni is most likely the person you'll reach. She has worked in numerous roles in film, theatre and television in the past - ranging from art directing, to children's theatre, coming up with ideas for shows in MTV's Development department. In addition to managing the site on a day-to-day basis she also waits for the day Chris and Simon allow her to get a Blue Compass cat. She's still waiting...

Simon Dale, Director

Before Stage Jobs was launched, Simon, 37, was the Online Services Support Manager for Production Base, where, for 4 years, he managed a customer support team and worked closely with both crew and production companies to ensure the smooth running of the UK's leading recruitment site for TV & film. Prior to Production Base he worked for a literary agent and a film production company. In 2004, together with Chris, he set up Blue Compass Ltd.

Chris Timms, Director

The techie of the group, Chris has spent the last ten years developing online recruitment websites, with a particular focus on the Theatre and Film & TV industry.

Now surprised to be 34, he lives in North London and when not tinkering away on the system you can often find him on the South Bank complaining about the prohibitive price of theatre tickets.
